General Liability Attorney
Our client, a well-regarded law firm with a dynamic civil litigation practice, is seeking a talented
Midlevel Associate Attorney
to join their California team
remotely . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on both insurance bad faith and general liability matters in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of
bad faith, fraud, and general liability matters
(including premises liability, personal injury, auto/trucking accidents, habitability, and construction defect cases).Handle
50% bad faith
and
50% general liability
cases, with opportunities to focus on
Special Investigation Unit (SIU) claims .Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal documents.Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy.Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years
of civil litigation experience, with either
prior
experience
in
bad faith/SIU
matters or a strong background in
general liability
and an interest in expanding into bad faith litigation.Must be Bar licensed
in
California , in good standingAbility to work remotely with excellent self-management skills.Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a remote setting.Benefits:
