The Paralegal will work closely with the General Counsel and other attorneys on a variety of legal, transactional, and operational matters affecting the Company (as experience and aptitude dictate), with a heavy emphasis on real estate transactional activity.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Drafting and reviewing land acquisition contracts and related documentsPerforming title and survey review on the property being acquiredReviewing and analyzing other due diligence associated with the acquisition of propertyAssisting in the closing of land acquisition transactionsAdministering legal and operational issues relating to the development, opening, and operation of neighborhoods and the sale of homesSummarizing and tracking key contract information, including critical datesMaintaining records in the legal department matter management databaseDrafting and reviewing other legal documents, contracts, and correspondenceWorking on corporate governance mattersResearching, organizing, and analyzing legal or factual information as neededAssisting company attorneys on a variety of legal and operational matters to efficiently deliver legal services to the CompanyPosition Standards:
