Objectives
Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate using radios or telephones.Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios.Prepare daily work schedules. Receive or prepare work orders.Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas.Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate schedules.Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information.Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.Qualifications
Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, & SA Recycling safety, health, & environmental rules, regulations, policies, & procedures.High School diploma or equivalent required.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) required.Previous experience in dispatch, traffic, or field service scheduling required.Knowledge
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Mandatory & Voluntary Requirements
General Corporate policies / procedures (e.g. sexual harassment, yard safety, et. al.) training required.Emergency evacuation / contingency plan training required.Fire safety training required.Proper PPE use training required.
