Summary:

The HR Systems and Data Manager serves as a core member of the HR operations team and is responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR-related data, metrics, and statistics. Supports the goals and priorities of the HR department, continuously improving the efficiency and delivery of services and programs including employee recruitment, engagement, benefits, and retention and compliance efforts. Spearheads data collection for AAUP, IPEDS, and other surveys. Supports the HR team, leadership teams, and larger University initiatives.

Duties:Responsible for the collection, maintenance and analysis of human resources related data and metrics from various sources including UKG (HCM/HRIS), applicant tracking system, exit interview surveys (Qualtrics) and other sources. Oversee HR's data governance and ensure alignment with University practices. Manage HR data and information in its accuracy and representation. Ensure data validation and data integrity and conduct regular audits and reviews of data.Develop and produce regular HR metrics with core HR statistics for internal use and to help guide and inform HR planning, and forecasting. This includes turnover data, workforce diversity, employee recruitment and retention.Collect and compile data for annual HR related surveys and other data collection. Regular surveys include but are not limited to AAUP and IPEDS.Collaborate with institutional research and other offices in the identification and development of definitions for key institutional data; serve as the main HR contact supporting and providing data to support the University's census. Provide expertise and consultation to HR functional leaders as they design and implement programs.Work with and provide support to the Benefits department in the analysis of benefit information including employee participation and utilization as well as automation and enrollment files for external vendors or service providers. Assist with annual benefits open enrollment process including set up, testing and configuration of the open enrollment environment. Support to the Benefits with benefits related processing including benefits audits, transmission of benefit files and troubleshooting of benefits related file issues and errors.Serve as the main point of contact for internal requests for HR related data and creating ad-hoc reports.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to develop processes to monitor recruitment efforts effectively and proactively.Oversees HRIS and the effective use and maintenance of the HR systems.Assist with the ongoing training and support of staff in the efficient use of the HR systems.Perform data quality reviews to identify problems and errors, partner with HR teams to design solutions. Assist in the evaluation and implementation of processes and procedures related to the effective use of the HR systems. Assist with the testing of system upgrades and enhancements.Assist with the development and creation of electronic forms and ensure the accessibility of all HR related documents and communications.Performs other such duties as assigned from time to time.Supervision:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Experience HRIS/HCM systems. UKG preferred.Experience with HR and Talent Acquisition programs, systems, and processes (applicant tracking systems, recruiting, screening, and onboarding, etc.), preferred.Advanced Excel skills and experience.Strong database experience and knowledge.Experience providing advanced HR reporting and analytics.Experience in higher education, research, or non-profit sectors preferred.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm; additional hours as needed.
