Job Description:
CoreSys Consulting is seeking an Ab Initio Developer for the IPPS-A Army Military Pay (AMP) program to perform conversions, interface development, documentation and unit testing using various Ab Initio tools. You will participate in development, integration and deployment of solutions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting application solutions and re-engineered components based on client requirements. Performs business and technical design functions, including making contributions to business and technical architecture components of the enterprise solution. This role is responsible for supporting technical documentation using the project's toolset, code development in Ab Initio based on design specifications, data conversion/interface testing and progress reviews with client stakeholders.
What you'll get to do:General responsibility in the design, development and delivery of pay and human resources data integration between multiple external systems and PeopleSoft, using and data conversion into PeopleSoft from legacy systems.Develop technical solutions to business challenges and functional requirementsCreate, update and edit functional and technical design specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirementsInterpret requirements, perform complex analyses and present options and recommendations to obtain desired resultsSupport and independently own tasks related to design, development of conversions and interfacesConduct Unit testing and resolve issues found in testingMeet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic prioritiesProvide overall technical and logistical support to the programRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degreeMinimum 10 years of related experienceExperience in design and development of conversions and interfaces with ETL tools1-5 years of experience with Ab InitioExperience in reading/writing source to target mapping documentsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownershipStrong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem solving skillsAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic prioritiesEffective communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environmentAbility to communicate in a clear and concise manner and success working in an Agile SAFe Scrum TeamActive DoD Secret clearanceMust have SAFe Certified Agilist certification within 90 days of start dateDesired Qualifications:
Experience with Ab Initio ETL Platform (plans, graphs, psets, meta-programming, etc.)Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner and success working in Agile Product Teams (APTs)Experience as a data modeler and/or data architectExperience with DoDAF ArtifactsExperience with existing Army Pay and Human Resources data and systemsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownershipActive DoD Secret ClearanceSAFe Agilist certifiedEmployee Benefits:
