Your experience leading talented professionals across engineering, operations, supply chain, and contracts groups will enable your program team to meet its key commitments during development of ground-based satellite communication systems.
The day-to-day
In this role, you will form and sustain effective cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations throughout the program life cycle. You and your program leadership team will solve complex programs and be responsible for program execution through leadership, planning, scheduling, financial reporting, budgeting, and deliverables management. You will use your skilled leadership and problem-solving skills to utilize formal program management techniques (i.e., EVMS) and achieve the goals of the program and business area which are key for your success. Outstanding communication, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are key enablers for success in the role! Come grow with us as we connect people and change the world!
What you'll need
5+ years of Program Management experienceBachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degreeAdvanced experience with MS ProjectDemonstrated strong financial experience in EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systemsSkilled in structured risk management processesExtensive problem-solving skills, demonstrated leadership in the face of sudden setbacksExperience with Hardware system development using stage gate processes.Experience managing projects with Civil Engineering requirementsExperience managing project requirements for DoD end usersExperience effectively managing subcontractors delivering key system elementsExceptional communication, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are key enablers for success in the role.Must be willing to be onsite in our Duluth, GA location at least four times a weekTravel up to 25%US Citizenship requiredWhat will help you on the job
Master's Degree in a technical fieldInterest in Communications, satellite ground station experienceKnowledge Of U.S. Government SATCOM and space-based intelligence mission requirementsExperience in design and construction to support development of satellite earth stations/antenna or cellular/wireless facilitiesGovernment or Military installation design or construction experience, including knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Guide Specifications (UFGS)Experience managing design and construction projects internationallyAbility to Obtain a National Security ClearanceUnrelenting customer focus, a passion for excellence, and a one-team mindset describe the successful candidate

Salary range
$156,700.00 - $231,000.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $194,700.00- $272,700.00/ annually
