MBK Real Estate is expanding its Talent Acquisition team to better support our multiple locations!
This is a hybrid position with travel to our Oregon and Washington locations.
Job Summary:
At MBK, our Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in helping to build our team and support our mission of delivering exceptional experiences for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Recruiters, Coordinators, and the Director of Talent Acquisition to guide the hiring process from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and attracting top talent, coordinating interviews, and facilitating a smooth onboarding process to ensure candidates align with our values at every step.
You'll partner with Community Leaders, the Business Office Manager, and the Talent Acquisition Team to deliver a seamless and positive experience for all involved. We're looking for someone who not only has a passion for recruiting processes and systems but also thrives on building strong relationships and making a positive impact.
Essential Job Duties:
Coordinate the Hiring Process:
Support recruiting activities, collaborating with Regional Recruiters and hiring teams. Schedule interviews, manage candidate travel, and assist with recruitment projects, including diversity outreach and community recruitment.Support Onboarding:
Assist with the I-9 verification process and other onboarding tasks to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one with Recruiters and Hiring Managers.Recruitment Strategy Support:
Applying expertise and knowledge to build a properly defined candidate profile pipeline and job description necessary to drive an effective sourcing program and pipelines. Screens and qualifies candidates.Build and maintain a competitive intelligence database, qualifying and extracting information from multiple data sources to create a candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs., Promote and enhance employee referral programs.Post openings on job boards, college career centers, professional association boards, etc.Utilize web-based applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data for reporting and all talent analytics.Recruitment Training/Tools Support:
Where appropriate, providing training and direction on Targeted Selection methods and proper and effective legal interviewing techniques.Lead or assist with training related to recruiting including ATS training for new users and Behavior Based Interview Skills Training.Manage all social media to drive talent brand.Reporting/Metrics:
Generate reports working with Talent Ops Manager. Work to gather staffing metrics including quality of applicant pools, diversity, number of hires, hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.Generate reports and maintain records through knowledge of an applicant tracking system and/or staffing database systems.Administrative Duties : Utilize effective communication and follow-through while acting as a dependable point of contact for candidates and hiring managers.Perform various administrative responsibilities that relate to recruiting.Conduct reference checks and background screenings as part of the hiring process.Provide regular updates on recruiting activities, keeping stakeholders informed of hiring progress.Candidate Experience : Work with recruiter and hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience.Other Duties:

Contribute to creating job ads, social media posts, and other recruitment materials that reflect our company culture and values.Participate in Special Projects:
Support talent acquisition initiatives, such as improving recruitment processes or implementing new tools and technology.Provide Onboarding Assistance:
Help facilitate a welcoming onboarding experience by organizing orientation materials and preparing for new hire welcome events.Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

3+ Years or equivalent recruitment experienceLocal travel may be needed for job fairs and community eventsExperience sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing professional and management candidates requiredExperience with Social Media Strategy and Employment Branding/recruitment is preferredTechnically savvy and up to date on new technologies for Talent AcquisitionIntermediate-level MS Office proficiencyLocal Travel up to 35% and ability to travel to home office quarterly as neededPhysical Demands:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk intermittently throughout the workday.Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods.Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push up to 20 lbs. as needed.Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and moving between divisions.Ability to communicate, both written and verbally at an appropriate level to exchange information.
