TCP Software is hiring a Graphic Designer/Videographer for our Marketing department. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering effective, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for print and digital marketing content, as well as for producing and editing a variety of videos using the latest software and video editing tools. You will be responsible for coordinating photo and video shoots, editing stock images and footage, applying animations, crafting full explainer videos, and collaborating with other designers to work on projects provided by Marketing, Sales, HR, and various other internal teams. You will have experience working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment with a strong ability to think creatively and work proactively. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite including video software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. This role will report directly to the Sr. Graphic Designer under the direction of the VP, Brand & Creative.
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will:
Help the VP, Brand & Creative manage creative projects and processes within an Agile/Sprint systemManage graphic designers by setting clear expectations aligned with broader business goals and project deadlines, directing projects and tasks, developing long-term goals, and meeting regularlyHelp direct freelancers as needed, including packaging raw files, and overseeing production processesTranslate requests from a variety of departments into compelling campaigns and designs in both print and digital formatsDevelop print and digital templates using best practices and established brand guidelines (primarily using Adobe CS and MS Office)Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials such as fact sheets, brochures, infographics, eBooks, print and digital (rich and static) ads, emails, tradeshow booths, social media posts, and website pagesCraft mini videos used for brand awareness, paid social ads, and company trainingBuild occasional PowerPoint presentations and maintain Word templates and documentsWork closely and proactively with internal "clientele" and outside vendors and agencies such as tradeshow, print, promotional companies, etc.Build and maintain image libraries, update the style guide quarterly, develop a department SOP, and establish and maintain nomenclature and filing standardsMeet all deadlines (familiarity with Monday and a sprint process a plus)Other duties as assignedYou are a strong fit for this role if you have :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or related fieldMinimum 5 years successful professional design experience, preferably at a creative/advertising agency or in-house as a member of the creative teamStrong portfolio of design workExperience in print and digital marketing campaigns deploying today's UX standardsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, and knowledge of UX design processesStrong work ethic, ability to take direction, keen eye for detail, understanding of brand cohesion, passion for remaining up to date with online best practices (UX, UI, WCAG, etc.)Strong time management skills and good interpersonal skillsIndependent, self-motivated, proactive worker, proven leadership abilitiesA minimum of 5 years real-world design, production, and layout experience in a professional and fast-paced marketing environment (understanding of B2B a plus); 2 years managing designersA real-world portfolio showing an understanding and application of today's modern design principles for digital, print, web, video, and tradeshowsSkills using software such as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign; Word and PowerPoint a plus; HTML/CSS a plusWorking knowledge of standard printing requirements and file preparationSelf-discipline and a proven ability to meet deadlines and production schedules; ability to work remotely/independently (minimal travel to Texas-based offices required)Ability to take direction from the VP, Brand & Creative and to work collaboratively with internal "clientele" including HR and SalesPhysical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Travel up to 25%Benefits:
