Who we are looking for:

Slate is looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Technical Program Management Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be a key enabler to further detailing and implementing Slate's Program Management model by partnering with other trams to define business processes and drive program excellence. This role is the primary enabler in creating a culture of transparency and accountability for the team and organization. This position will be tasked with defining, documenting, and implementing business processes meet program metrics including timing, cost, quality, and functional objectives with a lean and continuous improvement method and attitude. They will work directly with the Interior and Safety Systems teams to deliver program excellence aligned with Slate's corporate objectives. The Specialist is expected to take the initiative to lead all aspects of the system and component programs. They will create detailed timing and deliverable plans, react to requests, develop metrics and scorecards, and communicate efficiently across the company on topics such as timing, process, deliverables, issues, and other related needs.

What you get to do:Lead the development of Program Management playbook and structure with a Lean mindsetSingle point of ownership for Interior and Safety Systems as it relates to program timing, program deliverables, change management, and issues managementCoordinate Beta, DV, PV build events including part buy-offChampion Hybrid Agile/Waterfall best practices where neededEngage with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Brand & Marketing, and Finance teams to communicate requirements and resolve issuesDefine/refine and ultimately manage business processes for efficient execution of the program objectives with a focus on the following areasSupport the program management of Commercial Interior and Safety Systems Type 1 accessories. Align timing, milestone deliverables, and required resources. Manage and resolve issues and roadblocks with all stakeholders. Drive execution of the programs.Align the Commercial and Engineering teams on the definition and execution of accessory API's. Follow up and resolve roadblocks to ensure program execution.Ensure vehicle and commercial team alignment on program planDevelop clarity on API cost impact to the vehicle programPrimary lead for Investigate and Action Bulletins specific to Interior and Safety Systems and Commercial team needs.Work directly with the Design Engineering staff to document the unique needs of the Design team (timing alignment between CAD Steps and Feasibility Steps, Color/Material/Finish deliverable timing, issue follow-up, etc.). Work with both Design and Engineering to drive execution to program timing.Co-Chair the Cross functional Design meetings, documenting and addressing roadblocks and stagnate issue resolution.Provide program updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders.What you bring to the team:

BA / BS Degree in engineering/management discipline or equivalent in experience10+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the automotive industryDRE experience is preferredBody Interior experience is a plusPrevious assembly plant launch experience preferredExperience utilizing the Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft Power suiteExperience with PLM & ERP systemsExcellent communication Team building and relationship building skillsDemonstrate superior customer communication and service skillsPossess the ability to perform engineering and design process assessments and generate findings and recommendations reportsAbility to lead teams and meetings considering tradeoffs and optimized solutions with attention to detailA track record of successfully delivering large scale, complex, cross-functional and capital-intensive projects.Technical writing and documentation experienceWe want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate:
