The Creative Project Manager is responsible for strategizing and managing the creative workflow processes. This role will support a dynamic and fast paced creative department by working closely with key cross-functional managers on seasonal planning and global calendars for all marketing and sales teams. Partnering with the Creative Operations Manager to establish the development of schedules, budgets, and deadlines associated with fulfilling multi-channel digital, print and video marketing campaigns. This role will also leverage the ability to manage and negotiate with outside vendors to execute video and other seasonal assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Own the development, review, and approval of all creative projects
This includes print (including catalogs, mailers, invitations, linebooks and advertisements) and video productions (including commercials, social media and out of home)
Develop timelines and manages the flow of creative projects from initial creative brief and development to delivery and production of final assetsEnsure projects are prioritized, resourced, meet requirements, align with brand standards, and are delivered on timePartner with other project managers to assess capacity across the broader creative team based on an understanding of all active and upcoming workRegularly communicate and present project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team membersIdentify obstacles the creative team might face within a project lifecycle and proactively finds solutions to avoid delays in project completionAct as a primary contact between the creative team (graphic designers, web designers, copywriters, photo studio) and business teams (marketing, wholesale, e-commerce), to coordinate timelines, provide required information/documents, follow up on outstanding deliverables, and ensure flawless, timely executionEnsure projects are routed for proper approvalOrganize, attend, and lead kick-off and status meetings with key players to ensure that project needs and deadlines are being met, and send a clear and concise recap of next stepsProactively and consistently conceive of, define, and develop process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity across the creative team as well as cross-functional teams.Work with external vendors to guide and enable their success and ensure they are agile in response to changes and needs of various stakeholdersManage vendor relationships and resources regarding deadlines and budget needsCOMPETENCIES:
Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesHighly organized and attentive to detailAbility to collaborate cross multi-department teamsPassion for luxury apparel and sportswearExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledgeable in creative input and design direction to assist the creative team with feedback from executive and business teamsAbility to negotiate and manage external agencies & partnersUnderstand of video post-production, music licensing and voice over talent.Knowledgeable in all areas of the creative process, from briefs to creative development through completion.Interest to learn and develop personal skills and project management abilities.DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or relevant qualificationMinimum 5+ years' experience in project management working on multi-channel marketing campaigns (apparel or creative agency experience a plus)Basic working knowledge of print production a plusHighest level of capabilities with project management software programs ie. Monday.com or AsanaExperience working with individuals in creative, technical, and business roles2+ years working with a video production preferred (i.e. scheduling, coordinating video deliverables, and budgets)
