Why Omnitrans:

The San Bernardino Valley owes its existence to the convergence of several mountain ranges that feed into the Santa Ana River basin. This basin ultimately channels water to the Pacific Ocean via Riverside and Orange County. The valley connects several open space natural areas, mountains, and valley vistas. Many people travel through the valley for a variety of outdoor mountain sports, including skiing, hiking, biking and ballooning - in the mountain resorts of Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, and Big Bear.

The San Bernardino Valley will experience growing traffic congestion and one million more people by 2030. Omnitrans is improving mobility in the Valley through local and express bus service with an enhanced, state-of-the-art bus rapid transit system. The West Valley Connector Corridor is the next segment of this system, providing connections to major job, recreation, and education centers.

Omnitrans provides mobility services to over 1.5 million residents within the service area on 26 local and express bus routes, with 268 alternatively fueled buses and demand response vehicles.
