***THIS IS ICU FLOAT POOL (WILL float down to ms/tele/pcu/overflow units when needed)!
*Will accept first time travelers with min 3 years exp. Large hospital exp required!
Required certs: ACLS, BLS, NIH
ICU Float Pool: 8SCCT, 7SCCT, 6SCCT/4SCCT, 5SCCT, Transplant float (2 high acuity units are in the float cluster).
Will also float to Overflow PACU and other MS/ Tele/PCU, Stepdown.
Summary of Unit Details:8SCCT (Neuro), 7SCCT (Resp failure, Vent support, hemodynamic instability), 6SCCT/4SCCT (Acute myocardial infarction with complications/ hemodynamic instability), 5SCCT (GU, GI bleeds, Environmental injuries, Shocks, Massive Transfusion), Transplant float (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, Heart/Lung)
Please note that Cedars is a comprehensive transplant center-- would prefer RNs who have exposure to this patient population. See below for additional diagnostic criteria applicable to each ICU Unit. (expand the unit details to find all the different units for ICU Float)
24 beds per Adult ICU
Preferred certs: CCRN
Required skills: Vents, IV start, ICP, tele, conscious sedation
Preferred skills: Level I Trauma, Charge experience, PA LINES
