Job Description Primary Purpose - Located onsite Millsboro, DE Will provide financial accounting support to the Agri-Business division. It will be responsible for monitoring hedging activity to ensure all policies are being followed and all transactions are recorded and reported accurately. This position will also support hedging strategy scenarios as presented. Major Duties & Responsibilities Partner with and provide financial accounting support and analyses to the Agri-Business team through daily communication with brokers and merchandisers. Manage/Balance hedge and future accounts daily. Review and balance daily broker statements and monitor daily activity. Monitor daily bid pricing. Provide daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting. Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly grain accounting closing process. Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Provide analyses for grain purchase variances vs. budget and forecasts. Participate in special projects and prepare ad-hoc reporting and analyses as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years' accounting/analytical experience. Previous experience with hedging and commodity accounts. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification a plus. Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and derivative accounting. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
