TravelNurseSource is working with Cogent Workforce Solutions Inc to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Rochester, New York, 14642 Pay Information $70 to $72 per hour About The Position Contract: 13 Weeks || Location: Rochester, NY || Shift: D/E/N Rotating & Every Other Weekend (EOW) Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice, The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. Responsibilities: Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans. Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements. Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment. Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists. Maintaining and updating ward charts, patient files, and medical records. Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans. Collaborating with healthcare specialists and reporting changes and deteriorating conditions. Explaining tests results and procedures to patients and their families, as well as answering questions.
