Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an
Accounting Manager.
Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of accounting experience, leadership experience, and an interest in technical accounting. This company offers growth opportunities, team outings, exciting and challenging environments, and a hybrid work environment.
The salary for this position is $140k-170k.
The
Accounting Manager
will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the accounting staff and act as a mentor.Recruit and hire accounting and financial staff and conduct performance evaluations.Ownership of general ledger and financial analysis process.Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports as needed.Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Maintain internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparations.Support operating business units in the processing of accounting information.Partner with key customers to develop solutions for better financial outcomes.Assist with tax planning throughout the fiscal year.Other duties and projects as assigned.The

will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field5+ years of accounting experience.3+ years of leadership experience.CPA preferred.Operate as a team player and help to unify the team.Strong organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
