The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is hiring an MD for the US Cash Management Product Executive position.This role is responsible for leading the US Cash Management product organization including defining and developing the product vision and strategy in close cooperation with customers, developing and maintaining differentiation in the market, supporting Sales in driving new business deals as well as working with existing clients to deepen wallet share. Additionally, this individual should also facilitate cohesion across product design, development and go-to-market execution to deliver value propositions and customer experience. This role will also require partnership with business partners such as Technology, Operations, Sales, and all other cross-functional teams to exceed client expectations. This role will manage the P&L for this business and report into the head of cash management for the US.Responsibilities

Lead product organization, including the development of strategy and execution of plans.Oversee the development and management of a robust suite of cash management products, (e.g., payments, receivables and channel solutions)Implement advanced digital channels, such as mobile applications, to enhance customer experience.Leverage advanced technologies such as machine learning, AI, API, and data analytics to develop innovative customer services.Tailor solutions for multinational clients across a variety of industries and needs.Promote business through collaboration with members of the Sales and Relationship Management teams to generate innovative ideas and translate them into subsequent product features and offerings.Develop strong relationships across all functional areas including Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and HR.Manage team of product managers and designersStrong knowledge of market trends and emerging innovations within the cash management arena.P&L ownership across managed product offerings.Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 10 years of cash management or payments experience at a bank or fintech organization.Experience in working in an agile environment with client backed design based and modern approaches to product conception, design and delivery.Experience working in a matrixed business organization.Experience working with global multinational corporations and clients.Deep knowledge of US payment offerings and vision for future client needs.Prior responsibilities in managing a P&L.Additional Requirements
