START YOUR CAREER NOW.The Project Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the customer relationship and coordination of large project orders. Coordinate with Vendors and Customers, providing both technical expertise and logistical support, while maintaining strong business relationships.Manage material for large customer project(s)Assist with managing customer inventory both inside warehouses and in designated yardsInterface with key customer contacts and sales team to understand projects scopes and needsQuote/Sales Order entryIssue purchase orders to vendorsExpedite open ordersNegotiate with freight carriers and arrange deliveriesObtain and review shipping/receiving documentation and MTR'sEnsure accurate and timely invoicingDevelop SOPs and written processes for customer project(s) as neededBe in compliance with all established SOPsControl document flow of large customer project(s)Spreadsheet construction and maintenance for large customer project(s)Analyze and recommend areas where efficiencies and advantages can be gained by DNOW and/or our customerSupport Project Managers as workload permitsManage, maintain, and execute multiple projects and assignments simultaneously with minimum supervisionOther tasks as assigned by supervisorJOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Relevant business experience & product knowledge (drilling, oil and gas production).MS Office skills (Excel and Word) and SAP knowledge preferred.Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams.Must have current, valid driver's license and acceptable record at all times.Strong work ethic and integrity, positive and assertive attitude.Maintain and enhance good working relationships with customers.Detail-oriented, organized and analytical, goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure.BENEFITS:
