You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. Responsibilities
• Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently• Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys• Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action• Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals• Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action• Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Qualifications
• Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet client needs and grow client base• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients• Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam• Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
