Are you ready to become a pivotal member of Spotter's world-class cloud engineering team? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with a deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure & services and Google Workspace. You will be responsible for the administration of our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. What You'll DoCloud Infrastructure Management:
Implement and manage cloud-based identity management solutions (ideally with Okta) for AWS - IAM Identity Center authentication (SSO, SAML 2.0, MFA etc.). Oversee the administration of GCP and AWS cloud infrastructure. This includes responsibility for access to: AWS workspaces, S3 buckets, EC2, Redshift, Salesforce and maintenance of Route 53 DNS zones, Certificate Authorities, Web Security (SSL and TLS certificates), AWS Security Groups.Asset Management:
Ensure proper oversight of IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud resources through tools such as ManagEngine.SaaS Subscription Efficiency:
Manage SaaS subscriptions to optimize costs and ensure compliance with licensing agreements though tools such as Josys.Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnose and resolve complex access issues related to AWS IAM roles and policies using IAM access analyzerAutomation:
Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency through Terraform (IAC), Python and Bash scripting experienceGoogle Workspace:
Provide support for Google Workspace applications and services, including Gmail, Google Groups, Drive, Calendar through Google Access Manager (GAM) CLI with Python.Email and Endpoint Security:
Oversee email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint) and endpoint security tools (e.g., Crowdstrike) to protect our systems from threats.Desktop and mobile
security Mobile Device Management (MDM) such as MS Intune, Mosyle or Jamf in combination with Tenable vulnerability management and CrowdStrike Falcon.Network Security:
Maintain security measures using Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, Security W2, Local DNS and DHCP servers.Cybersecurity:
Administer and establish controls necessary to comply with company policies, standards, and industry best practices.Who You Are
7+ years of experience AWS SaaS cloud services for a large on-site and remote workforce using Google Workspace, Google Groups, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, AWS, GCP or Azure with SSO. Strong scripting skills and experience with Google Apps Manager (GAM).Strong experience with Okta secure identity cloud (setting up, configuration, management, etc...)Experienced managing remote workforce computing devices based on enterprise grade security, SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, MS365, Atlasian, Notion, Slack, Zoom, Proofpoint Enterprise, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, Palo Alto Firewall, AWS Route53 DNS zone, Web Authorities and Web Certificates.Very experienced managing and securing company devices with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as MS Intune, Mosyle or Jamf in combination with Tenable vulnerability management and CrowdStrike Falcon, or equivalent.Very experienced with Linux Bash or Python scripting. Terraform Infrastructure As Code for AWS development and maintenance is a big plus.Experienced in supporting Cloud based monitoring tools such as AWS Cloud Watch, Datadog, Grafana, SplunkExperienced in deploying EC2, S3, Redshift. In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $170K-$190k base salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
