Description
The ServiceNow Lead Developer will be responsible for leading the design development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements and enhance service delivery. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform.Technical Leadership: Lead the development team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and modules. Ensure adherence to best practices coding standards and development methodologiesDevelopment & Customization: Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform Implement complex business logic through scripting including client scripts business rules and UI policiesCollaboration & Communication: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and challengesQuality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and ensure thorough testing of developed solutions to maintain high-quality standards. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, development notes, and user guides. Prepare reports and presentations to share project progress and outcomes with stakeholdersMentorship & Training: Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting skill development and best practices within the team. Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on new functionalities and features
Qualifications:
Experience 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with a proven track record of successful implementations.Experience leading development teams or projects in a ServiceNow environment.Skills:
Proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and ServiceNow-specific scripting languages.Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM ITOM and ITBM. Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations with third-party applications.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications are preferred
