The salary range for this poisition is dependent on experience level ranging from $111,000.00 to $153,000.00

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline and 10 years professional-level experience in electric and gas utility construction/planning or business discipline with construction/project management is required. Advanced courses or experience in Project Management, Business Management and Performance Management Systems preferred. Working knowledge of work management, maintenance management processes and associated technologies preferred (SAP/GIS, etc.). Very strong leadership, communication, negotiating, and data presentation skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

Leads the Master Data Teams for NYSEG, RG&E, CMP and UI ensuring the needs of Avangrid are fulfilled in a professional and timely manner. Responsible for ensuring SAP data supports the safe and reliable delivery of energy to customers. Responsible for overseeing the timeliness and accuracy of SAP data as it relates to Gas and Electric infrastructure for transmission and distribution within the timeframes required for internal customers and regulatory agency needs. Provides leadership and direction in instituting and adopting best practices across Avangrid, for driving continuous improvement and for creating an environment where resources have all they need to execute their roles with excellence.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Lead, organize, and manage teams comprised of internal (approximately 20 FTEs) and external resources (approximately $1.5M budget per year) with the mix of skills necessary to deliver desired results within budget, on schedule and that meet and exceed customer needs.

2. Provide leadership and direction in improving productivity and reducing expenses using technology, process reengineering, business transformation and adopting best in class processes and procedures. This includes supporting, initiating, and managing projects that advance data quality, process improvement and technological efficiencies.

3. Propose, develop, and implement process measures and metrics to monitor current performance and proactively identify areas of improvements and changes across the entire business area process.

4. Develop, manage, and monitor all budget activities within budget tolerances and driving efficiencies.

5. Provide leadership and direction to ensure best in class Master Data practices are implemented across all operating companies with a primary focus being to align data models and processes in support of current and future Avangrid and regulatory needs while ensuring consistent, accurate and timely documentation of as-built changes and resolving data discrepancies for electric and gas data.

6. Provide leadership and direction in driving the expansion and evolution of operational guidelines, standards, and procedures for the management of SAP related information. Utilizing innovative and creative use of technology to accomplish operational deliverables.

7. Regularly interacts and proactively engages with key leadership positions of all levels to drive changes to streamline and enhance data driven processes This includes establishing close working relationships with peers within Data Strategy, Governance and Processes, Electric and Gas Operations, Engineering, Gas Design and Delivery leadership, etc. to drive these changes.
