If you want to be on the cutting edge of future changes in processing and tracking financial results using the most advanced cloud-based software, and you like interviews, documentation, workflows, and mapping to improve efficiency and processes, this is the job for you, along with helping departments understand the procedures and policies required to implement and maintain this software.Job Responsibilities
Design and develop new and maintain existing Workday Finance business processes and trace process through Workday Finance, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Human Capital Management, Workday Payroll, transfer of data from 3rd party software.Support Auditor's Office help desk operations regarding Workday Finance tools and processes.Use audit tools and processes to analyze and audit Workday processes.Work effectively with internal teams (Auditor's Office, Budget Office, Payroll, Grant Administration, Human Resources, Purchasing and Treasury, as well as collections, compliance, and production support).Ensure a high level of quality for software utilization and monitoring releases.Work daily with county departments, finance users, grant management, and project management to ensure successful county projects and enhancements.Test Workday release changes prior to being introduced into production.Minimum Qualifications
Should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with one year's experience.Prefer applicant has completed Workday training in Business Process and Finance Fundamentals.Knowledge of business process evaluation and improvement techniques.Understanding of help desk principles and tracking of requests, including training.Applicant should have at least one year of experience using Workday Finance.Knowledge of generally accepted governmental accounting and auditing principles.Proficient working with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.), and Microsoft SQL Server.Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal laws and systems control best practices.Must pass Criminal Background check.
