Duration: 12+ Months (Contract to Hire)

Multiple Locations (Hybrid)
MISSION:They will be assisting this team with the decommissioning of Teradata and converting it to Hadoop and GCP.This team also will be moving from Hadoop MapR to Hadoop Cloudera.The reason for this is because Hadoop and GCP are more scalable and flexible.MUST HAVES:
Looking for 5-7 years of experience in a Data Analyst RoleExperience with Hadoop and GCP for Data Analysis and Impact AnalysisStrong Understand of SQL and can write basic quiresExperience creating Data StoriesStrong Communication Skills (will be communicating with stakeholders)Agile Tools: Jira or Confluence (writing stories)PLUSSES:
TeradataAlteryxDAY TO DAY:
They will be going through the existing Teradata and converting it to GCP using Hadoop.They will use tools like Unix and JSON to cleanse, reformat and store before uploading to GCP.They will be rewriting keys from third parties and taking some of the Teradata utilities and move them to GCP.They will gather requirements from the stakeholders and the business side and go build it.They will be doing some basic scripting using SQL for the conversion out of Teradata and will be creating data stories.Job Requirement
