It was founded by individuals in recovery who have first-hand experience in receiving addiction treatment and have developed a specialized model of care that incorporates techniques that work while eliminating those that do not. Our facilities offer comprehensive care services, including medical detox, medication-assisted treatment, and aftercare preparation. Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our medical team. The Medical Provider will assess and evaluate the delivery of psychiatric and physical care to patients in the program, ensuring that the services provided are in accordance with facility policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards and all local, state, and federal regulations. This role is integral in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, through the assessment of patient health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations.Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans, emphasizing evidence-based interventions and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and other health conditions, monitoring efficacy and side effects.Provide ongoing patient education and counseling on substance abuse, health maintenance, and disease prevention.Medical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members, such as clinical staff and other patient care team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, including confidentiality and HIPAA.Participate in continuous education, staff meetings, and case reviews to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in addiction medicine.Handle medical emergencies and provide appropriate care as needed.Benefits:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or a related healthcare field preferred.Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and other addiction treatment modalities.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work compassionately with a diverse patient population.DEA registration and X-Waiver.
