Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks on a US Navy contract in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Position Title
: Cyber Systems Engineer
Position Location
: This position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Daily Responsibilities
:
•Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
•Verify/validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks.
•Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
•Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis.
•Conduct research and evaluate technical performance of enterprise products and systems.
•Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
•Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.
•Review test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements.
•Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
•Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for decision makers.
Qualifications
:
•Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 yrs of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 yrs of experience.
•Experience verifying and validating systems and assessing cyber threats.
•Understanding of requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices
•Excellent communication and written skills
•Ability to work independently.
•Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)
Required Clearance
:
•Must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $110k - $125k
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
