Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the Global CB audit process through partnership with DQSMaintain periodic meetings with DQS Liaison to CoherentResolve logistical issues that may arise with DQS audit schedulingManager the posting of ISO certificates to SharePoint and keep these up-yo-dateSupport VP, Quality, Architecture and Performance Excellence in Special Projects relating to the Global QMS and the QTUAid in development of Global QMS initiatives, associated procedures, and training decksSupport Coherent as needed in development and extension of the Quality Transformation UnificationEnsure Global SharePoint Site is up-to-date at all timesSupport the Global Internal Quality Audit processPerform internal quality audits as assigned at various Coherent DivisionsMentor Sites in implementation of Global Internal Quality Audit processManage the implementation of various Coherent Quality databasesManager the tactical implementation of the Qualityze 8D C/A databaseAid in development and implementation of other Coherent Global databases, such as an Internal Audit ApplicationSupport NoCal QMS in legacy Finisar SitesSupport transition from Agile CAPA to Qualityze 8DSupport tactical QMS needs as requiredSkills
Able to balance financial and quality objectivesManagement of Quality organizationsAbility to quickly learn new systems and be effective in maintaining and improving themExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and ability to comprehend and communicate at a high level with executives, senior managers, and global customers, suppliers, and principals at different sitesSolve complex problems using intuition, induction, deduction, analysis of data, and advanced quality tools, and structured problem-solving methodsStrong understanding of Quality Management Systems and best practicesBe in technical field, preferably Statistics or EngineeringAble to work closely and effectively with a large team of cross-functional engineers, managers and executivesEducation Experience
BA in technical field, preferably Statistics or Engineering15-20 years Quality Engineering, Quality Management, or Quality ConsultingExtensive experience with Quality Systems15-20 years of experience in manufacturing10 years of experience in using structured techniques to solve complex problemsExperience in Project Management and Software ManagementWorking Conditions
Office environment with some travel
