Electrical Consultants, Inc., a leading power engineering consultant firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced GIS Analyst in ECI's Environmental Services team. ECI specializes in engineering services to electric utilities (substation, protection, transmission) alternative energy systems, communication, oil/gas, mining and heavy industry. The successful candidate will serve as GIS Analyst in the development of maps (web, digital, and print), data collection apps, data analysis, and documents to support the siting, planning, permitting, and construction of major power projects across the United States. The successful candidate will assist multiple internal departments with project-specific GIS requests.

Minimum Requirements:

BS in geography, environmental planning, environmental science, engineering or related field; 3+ years' experience with ESRI software, ArcGIS Online, and ESRI mobile apps or combination of education and experience; excellent communication, organizational and writing skills a must. Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving may be requested. Successful applicant is subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
