Supply Chain Specialists at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.
There are a variety of concepts throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:Global supply chain design, management, and optimization for raw materials and finished goodsCapacity planning and global process improvement (Enterprise Resource Planning)Demand forecasting and optimization of inventory/warehouse utilization (Material Requirements Planning)Risk management and mitigation strategiesStatistical analysis to support data-driven decision makingSupplier relationship/quality management and product cost analysisResponsibilities
Ownership of supply chains for new product introduction or existing product delivery, including materials procurement and manufacturing logisticsFrequent collaboration with Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to develop business plans/forecastingParticipate in multi-disciplinary reviews focusing on supply chain design, facility transfer readiness, etc.Coordinate with global manufacturing facilities and provide logistics support for high-volume productionQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalentMinimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned0-3 years' experience in a related field
