Requirements
Key Responsibilities as a Dispatcher:
Communicate effectively with HVAC and Plumbing Technicians in the field, ensuring timely and efficient service to customer's homes.Demonstrate familiarity with the Northern Virginia area to optimize Dispatch Efficiency.Visualize the Dispatch Board as a Chess Game, anticipating and planning two to three moves ahead based on daily circumstances.Manage daily call assignments with tact and negotiation skills, balancing technician satisfaction with company goals.Utilize sound judgment to maximize the effectiveness of daily operations and address challenges as they arise.Work closely with the Dispatch Team to achieve organizational objectives, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.Lead by example, demonstrating and instilling a high standard of professionalism and motivation among your team.Utilizing industry leading software to process work orders and invoices.Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of relevant Dispatch experience; HVAC, Plumbing, or Trades Industry is a big plus!.In-depth knowledge of Northern VA, and surrounding counties.Ability to anticipate and plan effectively..Skilled in negotiation, team building, and decision-making to align with company objectives and maintain technician morale.Capable of working cohesively with the Dispatch Team to meet and exceed organizational goals.
