EHS Technical Trainer

Position Summary :

We are looking for a professional technical trainer to coordinate the design, development, and implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) skills training. A successful candidate will be expected to facilitate educational improvements for EHS and focus on our efforts to meet regulatory requirements while reducing human error and safety incidents through collaboration, gap identification and alignment of value added EHS training.

Responsibilities:

• Work with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders and teams to analyze and document job-specific learning outcomes and desired work behaviors

• Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them

• Recommend practical and effective solutions and associated instructional strategies that best support the identified safety performance gaps and requirements

• Design, develop and implement instructor-led and e-Learning course materials that increase retention and understanding of EHS topics

• Collaborate with media producers and graphic designers to design engaging media-rich animations and graphics

• Write scripts for e-Learning courses that accurately mimic the natural flow of human conversation and coach voice actors during audio recording session

• Design reliable and valid criterion-referenced testing that accurately measures and facilitates learner's knowledge and performance

• Work directly with and assist the Learning & Development group to create audiences, add new courses and maintain existing course materials in the Learning Management System

• Utilize project management strategies and software across multiple time zones to build and communicate project plans, descriptions of deliverables, and the coordination of course development resources

• Provide ongoing review, updates, and continuous improvement of EHS related curriculum

• Travel to U.S. locations to provide support to instructors, including delivering train the trainer classes for new courses, auditing and providing feedback to instructors and teaching EHS classes as needed (including off-site classes if required)

• Record and track class evaluations, then pursue areas of concern for the continuous improvement

• Order parts, tools, and supplies as required to support safety training needs

• Generate monthly status updates and other reports for supervisor/manager as requested

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar degree

• At least 3 years of professional experience as an Instructional Designer/ eLearning Developer/ Trainer/ Technical Engineer/ EHS Engineer

• Technical knowledge of TEL Equipment and/or Semiconductor equipment a plus

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrate the ability to effectively interface, influence, and consult all levels of employees in a multi-cultural organization

• A working knowledge or experience with Articulate Storyline Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Redshift, Photoshop, and Illustrator to design and develop SCORM-compliant e-Learning

• A strong working knowledge of implementing, delivering, and analyzing e-Learning using a learning management system

• Awareness of AI, 3D modeling/animation experience, Basic video editing and encoding, Basic audio capturing, editing, mixing, and mastering

• A team player who is proactive in learning new skills and receptive to feedback

• Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• May require up to 30% domestic and international travel

• A valid passport is required
