Responsibilities:Team Leadership:
Supervise and motivate a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.Workflow Management:
Organize and prioritize shop workload, ensuring timely completion of repairs and services.Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of work performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with customers regarding services performed, estimates, and any necessary follow-up.Training and Development:
Mentor and train team members, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement.Safety Compliance:
Ensure all safety protocols are followed, promoting a safe work environment for all staff.Inventory Management:
Assist in managing parts inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain shop operations.Reporting:
Prepare and present reports on shop performance, including productivity, quality metrics, and team performance.Qualifications:
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is required.Proven experience as an auto technician with a strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Benefits:
