Our client is a software engineering firm that supports the Intelligence community programs. Their focus is to make a positive impact on National Security by bringing talented, high-cleared Computer Scientists, Engineers and Analysts to the Intelligence and Defense communities' most interesting and impactful programs. They are seeking skilled Network Engineers for their high-profile mission focused program.
Successful Network Engineers will have:-3 years or more of network design and support experience-Security+ CE-GIAC Security Essential Certification (GSEC)-Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)-System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)-Expert understanding and application experience with BGP, RSVP, LDP, MPLS, and OSPF-Experience with Fault isolation logic and techniques-Layer 2 protocols and technologies: VLANs, RSTP, MST-Extensive knowledge of Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper routers and switches
This role is 100% on-site in Herndon, VA. An active TS/SCI or above clearance is required to start. If you do not hold a polygraph, you must be willing to sit for a CI Polygraph. Strong salaries + 100% healthcare (including family), 6 weeks PTO/holidays, 8% 401K, and more
