Overview
At Velociti Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public places such as break rooms.

Ideal Candidate Experience
High School diploma or equivalent education.Minimum 1 ½ years' experience in floor care.Knowledge of how to strip, wax, and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance.Knowledge and experience operating various pieces of equipment such as high-speed buffers, extractors, wet vacs, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers.Janitorial or laborer experience in a facility setting is preferred.Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment.Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.Key Accountabilities
Perform preventative maintenance checks on all equipment before useBefore beginning work, secure the work area and post safety notices for other space users.Floors care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells.Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, and extracting carpets, stairwells, and upholsteryWall cleaningDusting (high and low)Routine restroom cleaningRoutine office and break room cleaningMaintenance of floor care equipmentPhysical Demands & Work Environment
