Essential job functions/duties
Prepares financial reports and accounting statements.Posts journal entries to the general ledger.Generate summary sheets for use by the supervisor or auditorProcesses payroll and prepares payroll reports.Verify accounting reports for clerical accuracy.Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental proceduresFoster an environment of trust and collaborationPerforms other ad-hoc duties as assignedEducation and Background required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferredCMA candidate preferredAt least five (5) years of relevant work experience as an Analyst, Auditor, or AccountantThorough understanding of bookkeeping procedures and practicesAbility to train others in related practices and procedures regarding bookkeeping.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions thoroughly.Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelStrong analytics skills
