Overview:
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
As a team member of our IT division, the operation team executes task the following tasks:
ManagementSystem monitoringInquiry correspondenceSystem OperationEnvironment managementDefect correspondenceEnhancementConfiguration managementIn the event of a failure, you will receive a call from the operator, analyze the impact of the system, and take a prompt provisional response. After that, if necessary, you will consider the necessity of a permanent response and give instructions to the development teamAnother infrastructure team will handle infrastructure failures, but you will work with them to resolve the issueFor enhancements, you interact with users, prepare specifications, and give instructions to the development teamThe operations team works in cooperation with the Japanese offshore teamJapanese offshore team is in charge of night operation on weekdaysResponsible for the operational design, implementation, configuration, management and use of information systems that will adequately support the enterprise infrastructure of the organizationAnalyzes system requirements and evaluates the needs of one or more functional areas within the ERP system in order to coordinate, implement and communicate business needs into technical requirementsDefines system architecture including server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocolsEnsures that architecture project roll-outs meet security standards and be effectively integrated with current applicationsWorks on complex technical and business mattersEducates others in the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modulesQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experienceSales management experienceFinancial/Accounting experience a plusOracle 11g / 12g /19c databases thorough hands-on experience on SQL, PL/SQLLinux and Shell scripting knowledgeAutosys Job SchedulersHands-on experience with Java, JSP, J2EEKnowledge of the IBM Integration Bus introduction is a plusOperation/Implementation of Sales Management SystemExcellent written and oral communication skills between English and Japanese is required
