Vitalant is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Donor Recruitment to develop and direct the divisions strategic donor recruitment and marketing plan to achieve annual collection goals. The ideal applicant is located in either El Paso or Albuquerque. Additional locations in the South Division could be acceptable such as Memphis, Lafyette or Lubbock. The Senior Director must sit in one of our established locations for continued operations support.

In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement comprehensive plans to achieve annual collection goals, ensuring high levels of service and product quality. Key responsibilities include budget management, mobile and fixed site recruitment, and compliance with SOPs and regulations. You will provide effective leadership over a highly driven sales team, develop recruitment forecasts, review and conduct contract negotiations, direct media planning, and represent the organization in various public engagements.

Provide effective leadership to achieve high levels of service and product quality,
financial results, and other criteria in accordance with policies, goals, and
objectives.Hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates performance of assigned personnel.
Identifies and effectively resolves personnel issues.Develops and implements a strategic recruitment plan, including territory alignment
and goal setting that support the business units’ assigned goals.Ensures department follows system established recruitment SOPs, including
projection accuracy, required booking levels, calendar management, territory
planning, 12 week process.Develops and implements annual promotional calendar to support goal
achievement, especially surrounding holidays and summer months.Develops recruitment forecasts for the business unit by draw location on a monthly
basis through the analysis and interpretation of market trends and historical
performance data.Represents business unit on enterprise functional council, projects, and initiatives.Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
required.Experience:
Five years related experience
required .Three years supervisory experience
required .
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and
responsibilities.Must be able to maintain confidentiality.Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization, and problem-solving skills.
This includes previous experience in budget management/reconciliation.Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.Effective oral and written business communication skills.Must have a participative management style, strong team development, coaching
skills, and the ability to lead and motivate senior and executive-level managers.Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member of management.Must have proficient computer skills.Ability to travel (25+%)
