Powers Health is hiring a Supply Chain Data Specialist!
Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the item master and item vendor relationships contained in the Materials Management Information System. The database is used across the enterprise for product requisitioning, order entry, issuing purchase orders, receiving products and services, invoice verification and matching invoices for payments. Enters and maintains large volumes of information including but not limited to items, vendors, pricing, and units of measure along with other key elements associated to an items attributes. This position is integral to maintaining efficient supply chain workflow and cost containment. In addition, this role maintains information to optimize the product recall process across the healthcare system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field required.Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare provider environment required with knowledge of supply chain and accounting practices and procedures.Requires advanced knowledge and application experience with business information systems, Oracle PeopleSoft experience preferred.Proficient use of Microsoft products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Demonstrate problem solving skills with sound decision making abilities.Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to plan, organize and exercise sound judgment.Your Extraordinary Career Starts Here
