Job SummarySupports the physical, mental, emotional and social health of students and their success in the learning process. This position supports student success by providing health care assessments, identifying problems, planning, interventions, follow-ups and evaluations for all students within the school setting.
Qualifications
RN Licensure and CPR Certified or LPN Licensure and CPR CertifiedAdditional training will be given upon hire.Duties and Responsibilities
Uphold the nurses code of ethics while practicing nursing in the school settingProvide first-aid and emergency care to the school communityProvide health related assessment's and monitoringAssist with management of care for students with special health care needs/riskAdminister medications according to school policy to students who need medications during school hoursDocument electronically in student records all health room visitsAssist in maintaining a safe school environment.Compensation range : $120-$140 per day
This is an as needed position and is not based on 188 days.
