Ensure documentation is up to BSA standards at all timesEnsure food is properly stored in designated containers and storage areas and meets food handling standardsMonitor and order supplies or food items and restock as necessary to maintain inventoryAssist guests with special requests and resolve guest complaints.Follow sustainability guidelines and practicesPractice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standardsPerform other duties as requested by managementOrder food and supplies as needed and adhere to budgetary guidelinesProduce weekly schedules and adhere to labor standardsPerforms any other job-related duties as assignedRequirementsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma preferredFood Sanitation a plus, required within 90 days of employmentPrevious food and beverage/culinary experience required or equivalent trainingSupervisory experience preferredPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstand daily hotel operations and systemsMust read, write and speak the English language. Bi-lingual Spanish preferredFlexible schedule during high business volumeWork schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekendsPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands & work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
