Position Overview:An
oil & gas client
in Houston is currently seeking a
Sr. Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst
to join their team. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with a mix of remote and on-site work. The Sr. OCM Analyst will play a key role in driving successful adoption of technology-driven changes, supporting both project-based and operational change efforts. The ideal candidate will focus on developing and executing communication plans, coaching, and training to ensure seamless transitions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support organizational change management initiatives related to technology-driven projects and operational changes.Execute and manage change management strategies to ensure successful project adoption and minimize resistance.Recognized as a thought leader in Change Management and serves as a subject matter expert on complex, enterprise-level initiatives.Plays a key leadership role in developing and implementing new change management processes and service offerings, earning recognition from peers for expertise.Builds change management competencies in leaders and project teams by coaching project/program managers, initiative leaders, and other practitioners on best practices.Provide coaching, guidance, and support to project teams, leaders, and stakeholders in alignment with change management best practices.Assess the impact of changes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions.Create and deliver targeted training programs to prepare employees for new systems, processes, or organizational changes.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of change management activities, adjusting plans as necessary to meet organizational goals.Ensure alignment of change management strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of openness and adaptability.Utilize industry best practices and methodologies to guide the organization through transitions, ensuring high levels of engagement and adoption.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or related fields.Proven experience in organizational change management, with a focus on technology projects and operational initiatives.Strong understanding of change management frameworks and methodologies, such as Prosci or ADKAR.Expertise in creating and executing communication plans for change management efforts.Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage and support stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical skills to assess change readiness and impact, with the ability to develop actionable solutions.Experience in the oil & gas industry is highly desirable.Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP).Experience with large-scale technology implementationsFamiliarity with ITIL concepts and the ability to follow problem, change, and incident management processes and proceduresStrong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
