Job Description
We seek an experienced SAP FI/CO Architect to lead SAP ERP projects and ensure timely and effective project execution. This role will interact with business leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort and cost, prioritize work, develop enhancements, coordinate testing, and perform change management.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide functional leadership in the SAP FI/CO module on ERP projects
Maintain thorough knowledge of new developments and technologies in the SAP ECC FI/CO space
Plan, estimate, design, configure, test, and deploy financial applications projects
Train and coach teams, individual contributors, and consultants within the discipline
Promote collaboration and transparency, building trusting relationships within the organization
Articulate business value to C-suite executives on the quantitative and qualitative KPIs
Manage risks and dependencies, communicate and escalate impediments, and reduce bottlenecks
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Clear thinker with strong analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel financial statements and job cost
Expert understanding of SAP FI transactions
Intense curiosity with the ability to research relevant data internally and externally
Effective oral and written communication skills; able to present information clearly and draw relevant insights from raw data
Ability to direct the on-site and offshore SAP FI/CO team
Must-Have Skills
Enterprise structure design and finance master data
General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
Asset Accounting, Tax and Treasury
Statutory Reporting, Profitability Analysis and Financial Reporting
Strong cross-functional understanding of PS (Project Systems), PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules
Education and Experience
CPA certification is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field
12+ years of industry experience
SAP FI certification is a plus
