Facility Maintenance Manager
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt, Salary
Reports to: President - Digital Business
Supervisory Responsibility: Tool Room and Maintenance Attendants

Summary Objective
Manages all aspects of facility maintenance, Upkeep Maintenance software, equipment maintenance, building registrations / permits, utilities, grounds keeping, security and overall facility functionality and appearance.
Essential FunctionsPlans, organizes, maintains, and manages the operations and reliability of the facilities and general infrastructure systems.Establishes and monitors preventative maintenance processes and programs and facility inspection processes for on-going review of maintenance work by external code enforcement agencies.Supervises building maintenance and general maintenance workers, as assigned; conducts performance evaluations.Develops, recommends, and administers policies, procedures, and processes in support of grounds and building maintenance operations; implements and monitors compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes.Administers procurement and fiscal management activities associated with building and grounds maintenance activities, which may include: preparing PRFs for maintenance related work to acquire trades and professional assistance; monitoring spending on project and cost account basis; recommending and implementing corrective spending plans; reviewing and authorizing purchase orders; administering contracts; obtaining price quotes and bids; purchasing and approving employee purchases; ensuring compliance with company policies rules.Monitors the safety and accessibility of the facilities. Serves as the point of contact for the external departments for compliance and registration issues, improvements projects, and/or other related issues.Collects and analyzes a variety of complex data and information, including utility costs and usage. Performs statistical analysis and summarizes findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums.Trains and supervises the performance of assigned staff; coordinates with HR when disciplinary action when needed; assures substitute coverage as necessary; reviews schedules.Coordinates and conducts site inspections; recommends actions for improvement as appropriate.Provides technical expertise, information and assistance to the Plant Manager regarding assigned functions; participates in the formulation and development of policies, procedures, and programs as requested.Completes duties and responsibilities in compliance with standards, policies and guidelines.Promotes positive morale and teamwork within the functional unit and provides exceptional customer service to Plant Manager and others.Uses interpersonal skills and makes sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed between coworkers, the supervisory chain and clients.Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This position is responsible for the supervision of the tool room and Maintenance Attendants at the Manufacturing facility.
Work Environment
This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily not required with exception to local travel during the business day.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalentA minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance.Preferred Education and Experience
Associates' or Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited university;Experience in equipment maintenance / servicePrevious supervisory experience.

Must be authorized to work in USA
