Electrical Project Manager
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with Government sector experience to join their team as an Electrical Project Manager, and are willing to train you on any electrical specific items as needed. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Our ideal candidate should have excellent management and communication skills, as well as extensive knowledge of building systems, design, construction, and related management strategies.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the projectManage multiple Electrical construction projects simultaneously, track project financials, and negotiate contracts with external vendors reaching profitable agreements.Create and maintain project budgets and schedules.Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor work, and monitor changes during the project to adjust deliveries and subcontractors work schedules, as necessary.Provide the superintendent and foreman the scope of the project.Skills and Qualifications:5 years' experience as a Construction PMExperience in the Government sector requiredKnowledge of electrical building systems, design, construction, and related management strategies.Great management skills and understanding of Government paperworkExperience selecting and managing vendors.EM 385 and CQCM certifications a plusA valid California driver's license, valid auto insurance with a clean driving recordSome of the benefits include:Multiple health Insurance options with Dental & Vision401k w/ 4% employer matchProfit Sharing
