SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HRIS Manager will support all functions of HR with a strong focus on Reporting and HRIS system Administration. Individual is responsible for overall HRIS system (UKG Pro) performance and maintenance, including ensuring information security, testing updates, and improving process efficiency. Individual will also maintain personnel file compliance, completing state reports while providing support with: recruitment, onboarding, performance management and engagement. This is not an HR Generalist role and does not require HR experience, as much as the systems that HR uses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance:Collaborate with management to review the maintenance of required compliance documentation internal control practices are in accordance with applicable laws and regulation (DPH and EEOEA & Other State Agencies).Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation and work with management on solution.Create and maintain personnel records digitally for all employees, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements, including but not limited to medical records (annuals and new hires) I-9 forms, E-Verify, background check, drug screening, and nursing license.Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.Preparing reports and responses for audits, for HR, management, accounting and external regulatory bodies.Complete required federal and state filings including but not limited to Massachusetts Quarterly Multiple Site Report, OSHA, and EEO-1 reports and other compliance reporting as required.Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.Issue employment verifications.HRIS Administration:
Partners with internal HR team, IT, external teams and/or vendors to identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.Lead Roadmap development for future enhancements and optimization of HR software asset.Develops audits to support data integrity within HR systems.Develops and delivers system functionality and reporting to end users including the creation of training materials and quick reference guides where appropriate.Participates and leads determination of organizational needs for HRIS (implementation, upgrades, new product research, process improvement).Analyzes structure and flow of work through HRIS system; recommends and implements work flow business process changes to improve operations of the organization and/or HR department.Assist with employee access such as password reset, role assignments, etcWhen required assist with timeliness and thoroughness of payroll processing in coordination with the finance office; complete data entry regarding payroll changes; communicate with managers and staff to gather information needed to accurately process biweekly payroll.Provide HRIS support of core system administration changes or new features for compensation and employee benefits.Provide HRIS support of core system (UKG Pro) administration of recruitment/onboarding.Provide administrative support as required.Other duties as assigned.Education, Requirements & Competencies
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar. Education can be substituted for years of experience.2-4 years of experience as an HRIS analyst in a related industry.Experience with UKG / UKG Pro (Ultimate Software) is highly preferred.UKG Payroll experience a plusPossesses high degree of knowledge of UKG/HRIS reporting.Strong technical skills (UKG Pro) as it relates to an enterprise data management system.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and trustworthiness.Ability to think outside the box to solve complex problems.A team spirit and cooperative attitude, professional and pleasant demeanor.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.Ability to thoughtfully communicate with all levels of staff on all HR related issues.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and follow through.Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Compensation:
$100,000 - $110,000 plus benefits
Hours: Monday- Friday 9-5. Five days a week in the Boston office to start, and then hybrid once established. Must reside in the Greater Boston area.
