Job Summary:Under limited supervision, provides leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of the grade kindergarten through grade five curriculum and instructional programs; monitors and evaluates compliance with state and federal statutes and local Board policies; provides administrative support and supervision for elementary school principals and supervision for elementary instructional coaches; coordinates and evaluates elementary school administration, organization, curriculum, and special programs to ensure the provision of the most effective educational experience possible within District means. Reports to the Chief Academic Officer.
Qualifications :Requires a Master's degree in education administration, instruction/curriculum development, or other relevant area, supplemented by a minimum of 10 to 15 years of combined experience in elementary classroom-based teaching and administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
