About this role:

The position in our financial reporting and tax valuation practice works on a variety of projects performing financial modeling using several discounted cash flow techniques, as well as public company and transactional market analysis. The position also performs assignments including extensive economic and industry research. In addition, there may be opportunities to assist on transaction-oriented assignments such as fairness and solvency opinions. The position is ideal for someone interested in gaining exposure to a wide range of valuation assignments involving both private equity and public companies.

What you will do:Conduct research on clients, competitors, industry, and capital markets, including market multiples and comparable ratiosBuild, modify and utilize financial models for equity, business enterprise and intangible asset valuation using accepted and relevant approaches and theoryGather and document pertinent data obtained through client interactionAssist in the valuation of certain interests across a wide range of industries using relevant qualitative information gathered and through the application of proprietary quantitative valuation modelsAssist in preparing formal client report and presentation materialsWhat you will need:

1-4 (Analyst level) work experience in a financial analysis role. Prior M&A experience at a valuation firm or public accounting firm is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Any coursework in valuation, financial statement analysis or securities analysis is a plusStrong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skillsProgress towards ASA, CFA, CPA or ABV designations is a plusWorking/advanced knowledge of ExcelSelf-starter with ability to master new tasks quicklyAbility to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time-sensitive engagements in a team settingStrong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical due datesApplicants must have unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.What we offer you:
