Position Summary
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker will serve as the Behavioral Health Program Coordinator with flexibility of Zufall site location. Under the direction of Zufall's SVP of Behavioral Health, the BH Program Coordinator will work in both clinical and administrative capacities. The BH Program Coordinator will provide oversight and management of department operations including grant management, clinical supervision, quality assurance, and program implementation. The BH Program Coordinator will work with key administrative and clinical staff across sites and departments. In addition to the administrative responsibilities, the BH Program Coordinator will also be responsible for providing trauma-informed behavioral health services following the Primary Care Behavioral Health model of integrated care.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of Zufall's SVP of Behavioral Health, assist with implementation and oversight of Zufall's comprehensive integrated behavioral health services.Have day to day responsibility to ensure that clinical activities are up to the standards of the ZHC policies and procedures and ambulatory care practicesAlong with the SVP of BH, serve as a resource to the site managers regarding BH staffing issues and work collaboratively with the BH staff as well as clinical care teams to help with identification and resolution of clinical issuesAssists with oversight of grant management including recruiting, interviewing, budgeting, tracking outcomes, and reportingIn conjunction with the SVP of Behavioral Health, monitors staff performance, assists with clinical performance improvement activities and risk management activitiesServe as clinical supervisor for BH providers working towards their clinical licensure as well as master's level internsProvides clinical and administrative coverage and support in collaboration with the SVP of Behavioral HealthRepresent Zufall Health at community meetings, participate in outreach and community educational activities, and facilitate in-service educational programsFollow established departmental policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Assist in the development of relevant policies and procedures as the department and services evolve.Perform the duties of a BH Provider at Zufall Health with an estimated 50% of the schedule being clinicalPerform other related duties as assigned by the SVP of Behavioral Health.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Possess excellent customer focused interpersonal skills to interact in an effective manner with patients, families, the interdisciplinary health care team, and community agencies with diverse opinions, values, and religious and cultural idealsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCulturally sensitive knowledge of multicultural mores, beliefs, and customsBicultural and bilingual experience valued and ability to speak both English and Spanish strongly preferredExcellent computer skills, experience with electronic medical records a plusAbility to work independently or with little supervision and work as a team memberExcellent organizational skills such as problem solving, decision making, priority setting, and work delegationUnderstanding of trauma-informed principles and ability to apply them within the scope of the positionEducation, Training, and Experience
Master's degree in social workActive state of New Jersey LCSW licenseMinimum of five years post graduate experience in clinical/ambulatory care setting and three years with LCSW licensureCertificate of completion of 20-hour clinical supervision courseMust obtain and maintain current BLS certificateMust maintain continuing education requirements per the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, State Board of Social Work ExaminersAs a condition of employment, we require that all staff are fully vaccinated against flu. Therefore, if hired during flu season (typically between September-May), all new employees need to be fully vaccinated against flu and are required to provide documentation of receiving flu vaccines upon hire.
