Job Description
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality respiratory care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives, policies, procedures, guidelines and objectives of Respiratory Care Services. The RCP, utilizing the Relationship Based Care Model and the four C's of the NorthBay Way assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care. The RCP makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental and psychosocial needs of the patient. Supports the mission, vision, values and expectations of excellence of the organization.
Qualifications
Education:Graduate of an approved CoARC RCP Program.
Licensure and Certifications:Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License by the state of CaliforniaCRT required. RRT required if hired after July 2017BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required
Experience:A minimum of 6 months post graduate acute care as an RCPPediatric/neonatal experience preferred

Compensation:Hourly Salary Range Min $49.80 - Max $60.53 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)Plus, Generous Shift Differentials
