Help manage different projects with Warehouse Lead with planning, controlling inventory and closing. Maintains required records and reports; make sure the warehouse is always clean and orderly and make sure the warehouse is always in safe condition according to established regulations. Reports to the Warehouse Lead.
Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
:Assists customers, Picker packers, Ship out Lead, Production Lead as needed with the supervision of your Warehouse Lead. Fill orders with the picker/packers, FSO and Truck Drivers for schools, caterings etc. Manage food from the production area in the freezers, coolers, ship out floor, production floor etc. Make sure the coolers, freezers, fort lift, equipment are cleaned and always organized.
Know Microsoft Office Programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point.
Unload equipment, inspect, verify, accept or reject material from the delivery truck under the supervision of the Warehouse Lead.
Stock Warehouse, Ship out floor, Production Area and Catering area using FIFO rotations.
Be able to work in a busy working environment.
Check par levels and par stock areas for any products that may have expired or need to be replenished.
Provide an Accurate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Inventory to the Warehouse Lead.
Stock and restock pallets when shipment comes in the Warehouse according to HACCP procedures. Communicate with the Warehouse Lead concerning any product issues.
Performs various duties as assigned to help ensure effective, efficient warehouse operations and delivery services. Duties may include retrieving and issuing warehouse products; participating in physical inventory counts and adjusting stock levels as appropriate; preparing orders to replenish inventory; assisting in marketing activities; stocking merchandise efficiently; delivering supplies; labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and re-packing as needed; etc.
May operate delivery truck to transport products to customers safely and on schedule; verifies count, condition of good loaded and unloaded; unloads freight as required.
Performs various bookkeeping duties, including maintaining records and entering data in computer, approving payment for vendor purchase orders, etc.
Maintains a library of product catalogs and recommends changes in warehouse inventory to maximize customer satisfaction.
Conducts operations in accordance with OSHA and other standards and regulations.
Performs computer data entry to record and retrieve various information and to prepare reports and correspondence.
Maintains a clean and orderly warehouse and work area; assists in maintaining warehouse security.
Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits various records and reports which may include purchase orders, transfer forms, invoices, inventory reports, issue slips, stock status reports, damage reports, schedules, inventory lists, computer printouts, weekly reports, memos, correspondence, etc.
Operates a variety of equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, calculator, two-way radio, truck, forklift, fax machine, telephone, pallet jack, various small hand and power tools.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as immediate supervisor, District personnel, co-workers, and vendors.
Complies with all federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, administrative rules, and directives.
Additional Duties
:Conducts various clerical functions as needed, including answering the telephone, making copies of documents, filing, etc.
Picks up and delivers merchandise as needed.
Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Education and TrainingRequires a high school diploma supplemented by one year of experience in warehousing, purchasing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
