We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Senior Fund Accountant
to join one of our longest tenured clients. This role is responsible for managing financial records in accordance with GAAP, supporting the accuracy and integrity of investment and investor equity schedules, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining comprehensive workpapers, account reconciliations, and handling ad-hoc projects as needed to support our accounting and finance management teams.

Oversee and maintain GAAP-compliant financial statements for multiple funds and related entities, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.Manage and update investment and investor equity schedules, providing comprehensive and precise records.Prepare and maintain monthly workpapers and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance and accuracy across financial records.Conduct bank reconciliations to validate financial data and ensure proper financial reporting.Update and maintain quarterly audit workpapers and support SOX backup requirements to aid compliance efforts.Take on special projects as needed, providing proactive support to the accounting and finance management teams to meet department goals.Senior Fund Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA designation or equivalent is preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or a similar role.Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and audit processes.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
